Phenicol is non-toxic and highly available for administration via food. It is active against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Recommended for the treatment of respiratory and digestive infections.
Florfenicol.
Pigs: 40-60 ppm (0.5 to 1 kg/MT) continuously for 7 to 12 days via feed. Poultry: 20-40 ppm (0.25 to 0.50 kg/MT) continuously for 7 days via feed.
